RISE Festival is more than the World’s Largest Sky Lantern Ceremony; it’s a sequential adventure, unfolding in three distinct settings on the incredible Jean Dry Lake Bed in the Mojave Desert.


The Work
For nearly a decade, RISE Festival illuminated the Mojave Desert with its annual sky lantern release and invited thousands of people into a shared moment of hope and connection. For its 10th anniversary, Edition Studios partnered with RISE to reimagine the brand and create a unified presence across every marketing channel, setting the stage for its biggest chapter yet.
Edition redesigned and developed the RISE website, creating an immersive digital experience that reflected the festival’s energy and drove ticket sales. Our team led social media strategy and content creation, crafting community-focused campaigns that kept guests engaged throughout the year. We designed on-site and digital marketing materials, strengthened paid media efforts, shaped influencer operations, and supported festival weekend with communications, design, and on-the-ground coordination.
These efforts contributed to RISE’s largest year to date. The 2025 festival welcomed more than 42,000 guests, generated more than 1.8 million organic impressions, and reached a 35 percent engagement rate on UGC content. Press coverage expanded with features in Billboard, Forbes, and Rolling Stone. Edition delivered more than 200 creative assets and helped RISE move into a new era as a leading experiential event.
