/ JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Account Executive at Edition Studios, you are the link between our creative team and our clients. Your responsibilities include anticipating client needs, explaining the creative process, recommending solutions to grow revenue and increase efficiency, and overseeing the creative team for the clients you lead. To be successful in this role, you’ll motivate the entire team to exceed the client’s expectations while working within budgets. You lead all client meetings with efficiency and effective communication. You have strong communication skills and succeed in a fast-paced environment, and you don’t get overwhelmed when things heat up.
As part of a nimble agency, you’ll wear many hats and quickly become part of the family. Beyond account management, you’ll help support business development and are a natural upseller. This is a fast-paced work environment, and you’ll leave every day feeling like you got a lot of shit done. Every day is different. Boring people and career coasters need not apply. This is a job for a true hustler with previous experience at a creative agency.
/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- This is a multi-client role that requires close management and leadership of 10-15 accounts, plus the execution of specific initiatives
- Manage and execute campaigns, including planning, budgeting, contract negotiations, content reviews, tracking, measurement, reporting, and more
- Create and manage timelines, project budgets, and billing
- Understand all client information, including strategy, products/services, audience, and competition
- Collaborate with leadership and creative team on the status and progress of all projects, pulling in other team members as needed
- Delivery of exceptional work that exceeds client expectations
- Ensure projects are on time, on track, and under budget
- Upselling clients on new opportunities that bring added revenue to the agency and value to the client
- Collaborating with the creative team to design creative campaigns on behalf of the client
- Ensuring that the creative team completes all projects on time and within budget
- Lead all ongoing client meetings
- Presenting creative concepts to clients for approval and making sure they are in line with the client’s brand guidelines
- Sourcing potential clients and fostering positive agency & client relationships
/ SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
- Expert Skill: Asana, Harvest (or similar software)
- Proficient: Keynote, Google Suite, Excel, Word, all relevant social platforms
- Sometimes: WordPress, Figma, Loomly, Google Analytics
- Understanding: Google Ads, Meta Business
/ REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of agency experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Able to work from the Edition Studios Minneapolis office
- Expansive knowledge of all digital marketing aspects: social media, brand strategy, web UX/UI, etc.
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Ability to travel as needed
