Minneapolis Take-Out: Where Can We Eat?

Edition Studios | Blog | Rosalia Pizza

We’ve had to say goodbye to some of our favorite restaurants this year (RIP TBF, Moose and Sadies, and many more), but that doesn’t mean we’re only left with Applebee’s and Panera Bread. After all, Minneapolis is still home to some of the best food options in the country.

Here are some of our current favorites to keep us full all winter along.

Rosalia
From the great minds behind Martina and Colita comes one of the few new restaurants of 2020. Rosalia brings us wood-fired Mediterranian-style pizza unlike anything we’ve had before. The best part? They’re offering delivery in some decaled-out Mini Coopers to zip some pie right to our front doors.

Try the Trio Dip and Salsiccia Pizza.

Hai Hai
Vietnamese street food favorite, Hai Hai, was one of the first Minneapolis restaurants to perfect their takeout process in the early days of the shutdown. Order online for an easy curbside experience.

We recommend the Hanoi Sticky Rice and Pork Ribs Adobo.

Boludo
Two pizza places on the same list?! We had to do it. How do we even describe Boludo pizza? Doughy, yet crispy. Salty, yet sweet. It’s the perfect balance of ingredients that you want to start eating before you even get home.

We go crazy for Buludo’s take on the classic pepperoni pizza.

Khao Hom Thai
Ask Jordan what he’s craving any day and the answer will usually be Pad Thai. “Something warm, noodley, and spicy” is what we usually hear. Khao Hom Thai offers just that, with their straightforward Thai staples.

We’ll take the Fresh Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and some Yellow Curry.

Smack Shack
Oh, how we miss going to Smack Shack happy hour to hang with our favorite server (hey Tay 👋). This North Loop staple is forever in our hearts, even if we can’t saddle up at the bar.

Anyone want to split a Connecticut Style Lobster Roll and some wine shots?

Parlour
We crave burgers weekly, and what better option is there than Parlour? Hands down, the most satisfying takeout cheeseburger you can get your hands on.

Go for the classic Parlour Burger!

Bellecour Bakery at Cooks of Crocus Hill
Bellecour Bakery has a new home in Cooks of Crocus Hill’s kitchen! With lunch options dwindling, this new addition is keeping us full with their turkey wraps, protein bowls, and gluten-free chocolate cookies. Oh, and we can’t forget about the soup! Yum!

Chimborazo
Ecuadorian cuisine is SO good! Take a break from the norm to try something new and authentic. We’re patiently waiting for in-person dining so we can split some Sangria Slushies.

In the meantime, try the Saltada and Churrasco.

Twin Spirits Distillery
We lost the legendary RBG this year (RIP), and Twin Spirits is honoring her with a tasty Notorious RBG Cocktail. Let’s support our small business bars and distilleries by ordering gift cards and cocktail kits to catch a cool winter buzz.
